Magnesium is one of the critical minerals in our bodies. A lack of magnesium can manifest itself in a plethora of ways. How to Get Magnesium
There is no better way to get vitamins and nutrients into your body than by eating foods that are high in magnesium. Foods that are high in magnesium include spinach, almonds, quinoa, cashews, and avocado. Of course, not everyone (i.e. kids) likes those foods.
If you find yourself in that situation, but still need to increase your magnesium intake, the solution may be to take regular magnesium supplements. Reduce Your Intake Of Medicines
It is important to understand that antibiotics, birth control pills, stomach acid blockers, and blood pressure medications will all deplete the magnesium stores in your body. Although cutting out over-the-counter and prescription medicines may not be a viable option for everyone, alternative solutions may be something to look at.
Drink Less Alcohol
Drinking the occasional glass of wine or pint of beer is not going to be a problem, but if you drink a lot of alcohol, this will deplete your mineral stores.
