Packed with fresh fruits and veggies, smoothies are a great — and delicious — way to get your fill of energy-boosting proteins and healthy fats. Shake up your summer routine this season with these fabulous AM smoothies for the whole family.

From SELFThe Mango Tango Spinach Smoothie

(Studies have shown that carotenoids, such as the beta-carotene in this smoothie, is associated with lower levels of sun damage to the skin, making this the perfect summer smoothie)

Combine: 1 cup skim milk (Subsitiute with coconut milk or almond milk)

1 banana, sliced

1/2 cup chopped mango

1 tbsp ground flaxseed

1 cup fresh spinach

1/4 cup plain, nonfat Greek yogurt (Subsitiute with almond milk yogurt)

2 teaspoons honey

(Powerful antioxidants make this a great smoothie to start a sunny day with)

Combine: 1 cup baby spinach

1 cup peeled cucumber, cut into large chunks

½ avocado, halved, pitted, and peeled

1 large kiwifruit, peeled and chopped

½ c frozen kefir (we used Lifeway) or low-fat vanilla frozen yogurt (Subsitiute with almond milk yogurt)

½ c fresh orange or tangerine juice

¼ c mint leaves
