Everybody needs health evaluations, even TV news studios. On August 15th Stellar Health and Wellness had a great opportunity to provide food intolerance evaluations and dried blood cell analysis to the employees of Fox 12 for their Wellness Day. What is a food intolerance evaluation and dried blood cell analysis? We are glad you asked.
Food intolerance evaluation can identify foods that may be causing chronic irritation in the body. The test is quick and easy! It involves a finger prick to collect a small amount of blood. Your blood is then put in contact with a variety of foods and a measurable reaction is observed. This is different from food allergy testing in several ways. Food allergy testing (either skin or blood) is only evaluating your immune system’s reaction to foods. It can be unreliable depending on the state of the individual’s immune system. Most people can identify food allergies as those reactions are more immediate and severe in nature. Click to learn more about out Food Intolerance Evaluation Service.
Dried Blood Cell Analysis (DBCA), is a tool used to help identify what is occurring in the body on a cellular level. It provides the practitioner a view of the body’s primary stresses or areas of weakness. The procedure is easily preformed in office by collecting a couple droplets of blood from either the finger or ear lobe. Then the blood is dried on a slide and then observed under a microscope.
