Stellar Mommies are excited to share bulletproof coffee with you today!
What is Bulletproof Coffee?
Bulletproof coffee is black coffee blended with a slice (approx. 1TBS) of butter, creating a creamy and frothy coffee. The purpose of adding butter to coffee is to change the way your body uses the caffeine, extending the release of the caffeine rather than hitting you all at once. The fat in the butter, ideally butter that is both organic and grass-fed (we used Kerrygold), is what slows down the effect of coffee because fats take longer to digest. Plus, ingesting higher amounts of these good fats helps our brains and bodies function more effectively. The good fats in a high-quality butter is a great source of Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT), which is more easily processed by our bodies compared to longer chain triglycerides like Omega 3s. What does that mean? MCTs being easily processed means they’re ready to be used as energy rather than being stuffed into fat cells for storage, where they wait to be used later. Basically, bulletproof coffee is a healthier alternative to conventional coffee or even black coffee. Click to learn more about Bulletproof Coffee, A Nutritious Delicious Cup a Joe!

Not a Coffee Person? Let’s Talk Tea!
Most regular tea bags, even if organically grown, are sprayed with pesticides for shipping purposes. Avoid these pesticides as much as possible! Try to buy your tea locally, ask the company about pesticides, and give your loose-leaf teas or herbs a sniff test because if you can’t smell its fragrance then it won’t deliver the flavor you’re seeking. We used Mountain Rose Herbs in this video but always do your own product research and investigating to find what works best for you.
