Everyday you should be drinking half your body weight in ounces. For example, if you weigh 120 lbs, you’ll want to drink 60 oz of water each day. Just take your weight in pounds then divide it in half and that is the number of ounces of water you’ll want to consume. If you’re working out/sweating a lot, drinking coffee, or alcohol you’ll want to supplement with even more water.
Yes, avoid drinking reverse osmosis water. Common sources of reverse osmosis water include Dasani, Aquafina, and any water that says purified by RO or reverse osmosis. When water is purified by reverse osmosis, they reverse the H2O molecule which makes it awkward for your body to absorb.
Distilled water is great! All the impurities have been removed from distilled water. If you don’t like the taste of distilled water, we recommend Smartwater because it’s distilled water with added electrolytes and minerals.
Yes, home water filters like Brita Advanced water filters and MultiPure water filters are great options. These water filters remove a ton of impurities that you do not want to consume. Prices vary but are worth the investment for your health!
